For the film
production of Sol, Acme was hired to create the props that are so important
to a science fiction film. The list included the creation of a portion
of an old wrecked spaceship (which will be buried in the sand), several
weapons, gold coins, tent screenprints, a telescope, & satellite boxes.
We can't wait to see them on the big screen!

The hull
of the ship supports the upper wing. More damage is yet to be
done!

The laser
cannon sits atop the ship's wing.

The'hero'
laser gun was created from wood, plexiglass, and other bits.

The scanner
recorder not only lights up, but houses an iPhone so that the
crew can utlilize the video screen in real-time.

The rudimentary
crossbow was built to look as though it was pieced together from
the shipwreck. It really works!

|
This
telescope plays a pivotal role in the plot, and had to be completely
tricked out with all of the latest technology, including holo-screen.

The satellite
communications box started out as an empty fuel cell & turned
into...

The coins
were created to look like this original piece, with a more modern
feel.

Each
tent was hand screenprinted with the Sol logo.
